Sofa Pet Beds
Dog owners love to pamper their pets. Often times
they will purchase toys, grooming kits and treats that dogs have absolutely
no use for, but the owner simply enjoys the act of providing the gift to
their furry companions.
The same holds true with pet beds. There are a
variety of dog beds that are considerably more luxurious than the average
dog bed, and one such example is the “Sofa Pet Bed.”
What are Sofa Pet Beds?
Just as they sound, sofa pet beds are dog beds
designed to look like a sofa. They have a sofa back, armrests (though for
dogs these are far more likely to be used as head and/or paw rests) and only
one “entrance.” They also have mattresses and, in some rare cases, foot
rests. Of course the foot rests are often simply expansions of the original
bed, but nonetheless they disconnect from the bed much in the same way that
a foot rest does for human beings.
What is the Benefit of These Sofa Pet Beds?
As far as practical benefit for the dog, these
doggy pet beds have no real benefit. They are not more supportive, your dog
is unlikely to recognize that it is designed to look like a sofa, and the
arm rests – though adorable – are not likely to give your dog less arm pain
when holding the remote control.
But that does not mean that there are not benefits
to these dog sofa beds. Quite the contrary, there are several benefits, but
these benefits are all for the dog owner. Some of these benefits include:
·
A pet bed that better matches with the
décor.
·
A pet bed that your dog is less likely
to move around with its teeth.
·
A pet bed that garners greater
attention when guest come over.
Not to mention that there are benefits to the dog
when it receives some of the attention that it will no doubt receive when
sleeping on one of these pet beds. Overall, there are plenty of fine reasons
that these sofa beds are a great place for your dog to sleep.
They are also considerable comfortable, as sofa
beds are almost exclusively made by the top pet bed manufacturers. They are
a luxury item, and though the comfort in the dog bed has nothing to do with
it being a sofa per se, you can be very certain that the bed is going to be
made with the finest quality materials and thick enough for your dog to get
a comfortable night’s rest.
Sometimes it is Okay to Spoil Your Pet
When money is tight, spending your income on an
expensive sofa pet bed may not be in your best interests. But when you have
a little bit of extra money to spend, there is no denying that you can get
many benefits for yourself when you buy a pet bed that is shaped like a
sofa. Your dog will appreciate you for the bed itself, and you can
appreciate the fun and emotional value that seeing your dog sleep in the
sofa bed will bring into your life.
