Sauna Spa Heated Dog Beds

It is well known that dog owners love to spoil their pets. It is not uncommon to find owners getting their dogs a tremendous amount of toys, high quality furniture, and gear that their pets do not necessarily need. Dogs are fairly simple animals, and while many owners like to pretend that their dogs have higher standards than other animals, the truth is that all dogs are just that – dogs.

Still, though they may not “need” high end things, that does not mean that owners aren’t freely welcome to spoil their dogs at their leisure. After all, the dog is a member of the family, and as a member of the family they are welcome to the spoils that come from having disposable income. That is why some of the more upscale dog furniture manufacturers have created what is known as “Sauna Spa Heated Beds” – The Rolls Royce of the pet bed industry.

Introduction to Sauna Dog Beds

Perhaps the most technologically advanced pet beds available, Sauna Spa Heated Dog Beds are beds that have radiant heat panels lining the side of the bed that are designed to radiate the dog in gentle warmth as it rests or sleeps. The heat most often comes from panels on the side or around the bed that allow heat to flow towards the dog, rather than heat coming specifically from the bed (which could irritate the dog’s skin and/or cause injury and dehydration).

These are not designed just for cold weather. Dogs love gentle warmth during almost all seasons, especially when they have access to water in case they need to refresh their bodies. The heat is extremely comfortable, allowing your dog to rest easily with its muscles loosened and its body content.

How Effective Are These Sauna Heated Dog Beds?

These are some of the more expensive dog beds available. As with any expensive dog bed, it is essential that they are comfortable, and most reports show that they are. Dogs also do love radiant heat (which can improve the comfort of the dog even if the mattress is not as soft as over options) and these dog beds appear to be quite safe, with no real reports of any mechanical malfunctions. They are also fairly stylish for dog beds, though they do not always have the design qualities and colors of some of the other dog beds.

Those that would by these sauna beds would be doing so with the knowledge that there are going to be very few health benefits that come from getting thee beds, but they are still going to be fairly nice for your dog and a fun purchase if you have the extra money to spend. They are not worth experiencing any financial stress over (since the health benefits to your dog are minimal at best), but there is no doubt that they are both fancy and comfortable, and your dog will very likely love sleeping in the bed regularly.
