K & H Lectro Kennel Dog Bed Review
The K&H Brand is known for one main thing: Heated
beds. They are far and away the leader in creating heated dog beds for your
pets, able to design some of the safest heated dog beds in the world.
Perhaps what sets K&H apart is that they also design many different styles
of dog bed, each one taking advantage of its effective heating systems.
But the basic K&H dog bed is sometimes all you
need. A great example of a fine K&H product is the K&H Lectro Kennel Dog Bed
– a flat warming mat that is designed to go inside of your dog’s crate in
order to help keep your dog warm and comfortable even in the cooler months.

Pros
No one gets a dog bed from K&H unless they are
concerned about their dog’s comfort and warmth, and the K&H Lectro Kennel
Dog Bed does not disappoint. The warming system used by the company still
holds strong, able to keep the bed warm for a while at a temperature that is
safe and comfortable for most dogs. The sizes are great for crates, and you
can easily place it anywhere in the house at your leisure. Also, the cord is
protected against chewing, so your dog will be able to stay safe.
Cons
The design of the K&H Lectro Kennel Dog Bed is
unremarkable. It is simply a mat. Even so, the design suffers from a lack of
diversity. The fleece covers tend to be destroyed quickly, leaving just the
regular, boring bed in its wake. There are also many reports of the heating
system on the K&H Lectro Kennel Dog Bed simply quitting for no apparent
reason after a short time. Obviously a heating system that quits is not
doing its job correctly, so that is a mark against it.
Overall Impressions
Despite the reports of the K&H Lectro Kennel Dog
Bed heating pad quitting after several months, the heating system itself is
still very strong; perfect for those that have dogs that could use that
additional warmth. The price is right for dog beds that use this type of
technology as well.
But remember that the design is fairly
unremarkable, and as such this type of bed is going to be much better if you
are using it mostly in your dog’s kennel. If you are using it as standard
living room bed, you should still strongly consider the K&H brand, but you
may not want the K&H Lectro Kennel Dog Bed. There is no reason not to go
with something a little bit more fancy, as the prices are roughly equivalent
and you can find some nicer designs available.
